What’s new.

Every release across the dashboard, apps, and website builder, newest first.

October 2026

  1. v2.1.2

Pay for event tickets in installments

Let people spread the cost of an event over a payment plan.

    • In the dashboard: build the schedule for an event's payments, and collect the balances still due.
    • In the app: people see the full schedule before they pay. On a plan, their tickets and the event page show the next payment due instead of the whole balance.

In 2.1.2 on iPhone and iPad, and 2.0.2 on Android.

    How to use it

  2. Redesigned emails, plus new alerts for your team

Every email from Culminate has a new look. Emails to your people match the app, emails to your team match the dashboard, and both work in dark mode.

    • Custom emails wrap your message in your organization's header and footer, and the template editor shows the new design as you edit.
    • New alerts for your team: check-in alerts, new Connect members, event capacity and registration summaries, first-time and notable gifts, failed recurring gifts, Stripe payouts and account issues, custom domain problems, live stream alerts, role changes, and a weekly list of new people. Turn each one on or off in notification settings.
    • New emails for your people: a daily check-in summary for parents, a note when a bank account is linked for giving, and payment reminders for event installments and deposits.
    • Group join requests can be approved or declined in one tap, right from the email.

  3. v2.1.1

    Improved

Smoother live streams and captions in the app

In 2.1.1 on iPhone and iPad, and 2.0.1 on Android.

    • Live streams recover on their own if the video stalls, and come back cleanly from picture in picture on iPhone and iPad.
    • Captions in every video player.
    • Clearer info about text messages when you add your mobile number, including how to turn texts off for any notification.
  4. Captions on your videos

Add closed captions to videos and podcast videos. Generate them from the audio in a few minutes, or upload a .vtt or .srt file. They show wherever the video plays: the app, your website, and TV.

  5. Improved

    New date and time pickers

    • A calendar that jumps straight to any month and year.
    • Times picked from columns or a list.
    • A single field for date ranges.
    • Money amounts always show two decimal places.
  6. v2.1

    Culminate Life on Apple TV

Your episodes, series, and live streams, on the big screen.

    • Pick up on your TV where you left off on your phone.
    • Sign in by scanning the QR code on the TV, or go to Profile → Apple TV in the app and enter the code.
    • Follow along on your phone while the TV plays: take notes, read comments, join the live chat, and pause or play the TV.
    • See, rename, or sign out the TVs you're signed in on.
    • Dashboard analytics count Apple TV as its own platform.

  7. Improved

Restart destinations and check stream health

    • Restart a destination while live. If one destination stops working, restart just that one. Your stream keeps going everywhere else.
    • Stream health. For Culminate Live streams, the studio shows what your encoder is sending, grades it from Healthy to Viewers affected, and tells you what to check first.

  8. Edit your website right on the page

A big update to the website builder.

    • Type on the canvas. Click a section and change its text right where it sits.
    • A quick-style bar above the selected section for colour, layout, buttons, and icons.
    • Site style presets that reach every card, the menu, the footer, and the built-in pages.
    • An accent colour per section, which stands in for your brand colour inside it.
    • New blocks for church sites, including an app download block with screenshots in phone frames.
    • Background videos, checked as you upload them.

  9. v2.0

Culminate Life 2.0 for iPhone and iPad

Our biggest update to the member app yet.

    • A fresh design built for iOS 26, and a new iPad layout with a sidebar.
    • A rebuilt episode player with video, AirPlay, a sleep timer, and offline downloads.
    • Rich notes and a new comments experience on every episode.
    • Event itineraries, an easier ticket checkout, and discount codes.
    • Rewards: earn points and redeem them at checkout.
    • A new family check-in hub.
    • Redesigned messaging with reactions.
    • Face ID sign-in, and a simpler way to find your organization.

    How to use it

  10. Notes outlines and gatherings

    • Notes outlines. Write an outline for an episode. In the app, people choose Use the Outline and fill in the blanks as they listen.
    • Gatherings. Set up the times you meet, like a Sunday service or a class. They show on your calendar, and while one is on, the app shows a Happening now card with Take Notes and, if you stream, Watch Live.

    How to use it

  11. Event itineraries and updates

For conferences, retreats, and camps, give people the full schedule in the app and tell everyone coming when something changes.

    • Add sessions with times, rooms, speakers, and handouts. Types and tracks let people filter.
    • Sessions can have their own room, booked through Facilities with conflicts checked.
    • Speakers can come from your Leadership list, or be added as guests with a Spotify or Apple Music link.
    • Events can also take place off campus, at a place you choose.

    How to use it

  12. Facilities: rooms, equipment, and setups

Book rooms, check out equipment, report problems, and keep setups and maintenance on track, all in Organization → Facilities.

    • Set booking rules for each room: who can book it, whether it needs approval, and its open hours.
    • See what's in use now, today's bookings, and requests waiting on you.
    • Book a room and Report a problem are at the top of every Facilities page.

    How to use it

  13. Workflows: boards for work that moves through steps

Event requests, guest follow-ups, prayer care, facility repairs: give each one a board with stages, and nothing slips.

    • Start from a template, like Event requests, Guest follow-up, or Prayer follow-up, or set one up step by step.
    • Each workflow can have its own request form.
    • My work gathers everything assigned to you, across every workflow, with a count in the top bar.

  14. v2.0

    Check-In Portal 2.0

A rebuilt Check-In Portal for faster Sunday mornings, on iPhone and iPad.

    • A new Check-in tab. A walk-in inbox, live attendance for your location, and check-in by scanner.
    • Walk-ins fill in their own details. Select Send to Phone and the family adds themselves on their phone while you help the next person. Families who used Plan a visit show up in the same inbox.
    • A faster Check-out tab. Scan a pick-up pass and confirm. The Prepare list shows children whose parent is on the way from another room, and Auto Check-out skips the confirmation screen.
    • Grade ranges per location. A child whose grade isn't in that location's check-in group is pointed to the right station.
    • A refreshed self-service kiosk, plus layouts that fit every iPhone and iPad size.
